The Photographers Project is a blog with the mission to document the different ways that photographers work in or approach their industry/medium.
I designed this brand around the idea of a frame—a picture frame, a frame on a roll of film, a vignette of a larger story.
Taking the literal representation of a frame as a border, the hero in this brand is the outlined boxes. These allow for a really flexible brand that can be moved and reorganized and can act as a window to glimpses of your content. These “frames” can be used to feature a photo from the newest post, a “photographer of the month,” etc.
The way the boxes interact with the type lockup was designed to give the feeling of being in a three-dimensional room—like a museum.
