Year in Review: MMXV

This year has been wild.

I wasn't going to do a Year In Review, but at the last-minute I decided to publish some quick highlights. If I'm being honest, this is more of a public scrapbook. Or maybe my version of those Christmas cards that your parents send to their friends that don't know how to use Facebook to update them on what the fam has been up to in the past year.

PHOTOS

2015 was a big year for me creatively. In this past year I've worked hard to improve my photography and have grown so much as an artist in the process. Instagram has been a fantastic platform for me this year; but for now, I'm going to share some of my favorite photos that I took with my SLR:

BIG MOMENTS

04 / 01  •  passion for photography rediscovered in SF

04 / 13  •  left school

05 / 08  •  got backstage ticket to NEEDTOBREATHE's "Tour De Compadres" hometown show

06  /  10  •  helped break the record for "World's Largest Sweet Tea"

06 / 30  •  bought my first pair of Birkenstocks

08 / 02  •  photo published by LA Times

11 / 30  •  named "campus fave" by about.me and instagram takeover

12 / 06  •  moved to Phoenix

TRAVEL

Travel has been a big part of my year. My family likes to travel a good amount, but this year was a lot of solo journeys to places I've never been with people I've never met. I think it's safe to say Mom's heart probably got a workout from worry.

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but my taste in music has gotten so much better this year. Here are some of my fav albums and artists of the year:
